Ignacio Scocco

TF Shipping Ltd have added to the Sponsorship of Ki Sung-Yueng at Sunderland AFC by agreeing to become Kit Sponsor for  Ignacio (Nacho) Scocco who was signed on a permanent contract in January 2014 for an undisclosed fee from Internacional of Brazil.

Nacho Scocco is an Argentinian attacking midfielder/striker who started his career at Newells Old Boys and during his 3 years with the club he made 76 appearance and scored 16 goals before moving to UNAM Pumas in Mexico for 2 years.  In 2008 Scocco made the move to Europe and joined AEK Athens where he played on the right wing and also as a second striker and having played well for AEK was linked with a number of clubs around the World.

Scocco’s next career move was to Al Ain FC in the UAE which he helped to win the Championship before returning to Argentina and his starting club Newell’s Old Boys on loan.  In 2013 he moved to Brazil and Internacional where he scored 3 goals in 17 appearances before making the move to the English Premier League and Sunderland.
