Written by tfshipping on . Posted in News

TF Shipping Ltd are proud to announce they have agreed to sponsor two Premier League footballers for the 2014/2015.  Both players were signed on “Transfer Deadline Day” for Sunderland AFC.

Following on from our previous history of sponsoring players from countries outside of the EU that we are actively working with the two players originate from South America.

The two players sponsored are Sebastian Coates (Uruguay) and Ricky Alvarez (Argentina).  They replace the players we sponsored for 2013/2014 season Ki Sung-Yeung (Korea) and Ignazio Scocco (Argentina).  We wish both Ki and Scocco all the best for the future after leaving Sunderland AFC in the close season.

Our joint target is to provide a smooth and efficient service from door to door for clients in both Europe and Ghana.  Whether the cargo is North or Southbound we are dedicated to ensure it reaches the final destination with the minimum of fuss.  With our representation in Ghana we are well placed to provide the most up to date information on local regulations and ensuring that your clients are well looked after upon arrival of your goods including options to pay for cargo on a freight collect basis.  Conversely we can arrange FOB or CIF shipments of raw materials from Ghana into Europe and have very strong contacts with local suppliers providing importers with timely services and indeed up to the minute information as to the status of their shipments.

In early August our Managing Director, Tim Finley visited our agency partner in Ghana and along with Henry Boakye, Managing Director of Springate Logistics spent 5 days visiting clients locally in Ghana.  During a very hectic schedule the two gentlemen visited over 25 companies who are actively involved in shipping between Europe and Ghana as well as meeting the British High Commissioner in the UK Embassy in Accra.

Mr Finley added “The partnership between our two companies will enable our current and future clients to be assured of a smooth and efficient service for their cargo movements by sea or air between Europe and Ghana.  By joining with Springate Logistics we at TF Shipping have added another highly motivated, experienced and well connected agency to our already extensive Worldwide network.    This alliance will also benefit Springate Logistics who will now have access to our Worldwide network allowing clients to benefit from cross trade shipments from Asia, the Middle East and the Indian Sub Continent into Ghana as well as our European base.  We look forward to developing a very strong and lasting partnership for many years to come.”
